That's a batch error, more than likely due to a communication issue between the pc and the printer. If you reboot the printer, THEN reboot the pc you should clear that error.
This error sometimes occurs when the printer has been shut down whil logged into your software, which disables communications between pc and printer. The error indicates that the printer didn't receive enough data to properly print the batch of labels/tags.

How to Fix Epson Printer Error code e-01.

Unfortunately the E-01 error can indicate a hardware failure with the unit that requires repair. Either a paper sensor has failed or the printer board has gone bad, please try these hard reset steps:
Sharply unplug the printer from the wall outlet while it is still on, and disconnect it from the pc if connected there
Remove all paper from the paper feed and blow it out with compressed air a few times > With a flashlight look in the paper feed
Make sure there is no foreign object like a paper clip > Blow some compressed air inside the printer as well to remove excess dust > Very carefully double check on the far left and right sides of the printer (Where the printhead moves back and forth) to make sure no paper has jammed up in there as it often does.
Still have issues, feel free to contact Epson Printer Customer Support +1800-243-0019...
