But I would strongly suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support for assistance, especially if there are options attached to the printer, to make sure all options will function properly.

There is now default password. The default is without password. Did you try a cold reset?? Push and hold down butons 2,3 and 5 while powering on the machine. Release the buttons when innitialisation is on the display.

if the pick wheels are just hanging down you need a bell crank for the auto-compensator this part is 56p1228 turn the printer onto its back this plastic piece is known to break. look to the right its located on the end of the long shaft comming fron the auto compensator and if its broken there should be a spring either in the tray of still hanging from the mount

The easiest way to solve this is to work through Lexmark Technical Support.

Their web site may have the correct engine code on their site, but installation of the code can be tricky.

there is a smart chip on the right side top of the toner cartridge clean these 2 connections with thee green plastic brillow on the back of a sponge. just do this lightly. cleaning this should fix your problem

If your application is requiring the printer to select the manual paper feeder, you will get this problem. This feature is selected different ways in different application programs and different operating systems, but usually, after you select print, there will be a popup that allows you select the number of copies, portrait or landscape mode, etc. Either here, or in a secondary popup you reach by Print Properties or Advanced or some such button, there should be a paper source selection. Select Tray 1 instead of Manual Feed.

There is also a paper source selection available from the front panel. TO select Tray 1 instead of the manual paper feed:

Menu> - Select (Paper) - Select (Paper Source)
Use the Menu> key to select Tray 1
Select - Return - Return

Sometimes, for no apparent reason, my T614 loses its mind and wants to use the manual paper feed. I turn off the printer and turn it back on again to reset it... just like Windows! I could probably use the front panel to reset the printer, but it's easier to cycle the power.

I'm betting that answering your urgent question two months later didn't help you get your very important work completed on time. I hope you are still employed.

try changing feed rollers in tray. To test or temporary fix remove the rubber tires and flip them inside out, then reinstall.

i had the same problem and it went away after i removed the main circuit board and reinstalled it. (left side of the machine)
