When my sync is broken and in this sync should install new software on my LD and I restart the sync - does the LD reinstall the software (from the sync) or does it leave some trash on my LD that I should delete by myself?
It will re-sync with the installation. Should there be any 'residue' left from the previous sync, they will be overwrittien by the re-sync. As long as you don't manually change the installation files, things will be fine.

hi,
please check whether you have installed the software in Administrator mode only because it can restrict you in establishing the connection..Also try to restart before you reinstall your Scanwise..hope this helps you..thank you!!..
Hot sync the phone, clean the battery contacts (touch of alcohol on a q-tip), and try a soft restart...which is simply pulling and reinstalling the battery.
If it does it again, you may have a corrupt application. Hot sync the phone, do a hard restart (pull battery, reinstall battery, hold down power button until black bar crosses bottom of screen, select "yes" to reformat, and re-sync the phone to reinstall the software and data.
If it continues to be a problem, you can try replacing the battery or removing user-installed applications one-by-one to see if the problem clears...but the problem is most likely an unstable phone.

I had the same problem but now i have found the solution for it. Its not the software its the phone. Go to your Phone Settings hit Connectivity and then Usb Connection select Data Service and now connect your phone to the pc and select connect in Mobilesync and it should work. After you are done using MOBILE SYNC you can simple go in settings once again and choose mass storage for any downloads!!!
