Because the Palm LifeDrive is somewhat older hardware, it will only connect to a WEP security protocol. It will "see" a WPA secured network, but it cannot connect because the security level options are simply not available on the LD. You will have to go into your router settings and set up WEP as your wireless security. You can easily find on Google how to access your particular brand and model of router's settings.

It sounds like you need to setup the network settings on the palm or the wep or securty key or both.

When it shows the network id tap edit then enter the wep or wpa key if needed, then tap details to get to the screen where you enter the normal network details.

Usually it is just the security key that causes this. Get that code in and you might pop right on.

I am using sony xperia M i can!t connect to linksys router. what should i do?

Hi
Please first try to connect to any other wifi if available so you know if there is any issue with your phone wifi settings or hardware issue ,
if it connects to other available wifi than you have to check your link sys router if other things which are connected that router is working fine so you have an issue in restriction setting under wireless security settings.
just select allow all and should be normal.

If your other devices will connect to the router fine, then the problem is not with the router. check your PC to see if the WIFI card is working or is turned off.

Hello,

Just had same problems with my brand new Xperia Mini Pro and old WRT54G ver 5. Every time I connected with WiFi the router restarted (once it returned to factory settings). I updated the router firmware to latest version (1.00.6 to 1.02.8) and after this it works fine.

it is a good idea to have your pc plugged into the router during setup. with a wireless connection, you may loose your connection during setup since many routers need to "reboot" after changes are made. after the initial setup, making minor changes via wifi are acceptable.

You need the wireless connection to be blue tooth enabled.

Here's a good read on how bluetooth works-
