Laptop stopped picking up Internet.

Unfortunatly, if it won't even power up anymore, there no way to even diagnose what the problem might have been. sorry to say, but i think it may be time for a new router.

If you haven't changed the default password (user admin and password as password, or if that doesn't work try 1234) try to log in with that, if that doesn't work you will need to reset the router to the factory settings to get in with the default user and password which is the above one. Note that you will lose the ISP settings and wireless settings when you reset the router.

Here's a video on how to reset the router to the factory default settings: http://kbserver.netgear.com/media/flash/training/Troubleshooting/NG_WGR614V9Router_TS_LostPassword.html

Wont connect to my labtop

No, you don't need any cd for drivers. All you need is just to enable the Wi-Fi at your laptop (in case it is not already enable) and let the laptop scan for wireless networks. After a while a pop up will prompt you to choose the wi-fi you want to connect to. Choose your own, when asked type the password (in case of a secure wi-fi) and connect.

In case of a problem or clarification, or something isn't as described, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

Howdy. We are not connected in any way with Netgear, but I hear your frustration. Since you have only one ethernet plug,I wonder if you might try using the new netgear rangemax instead of the other netgear router rathern than with it. They suggest you use these with the rangemax:
"We recommend using this product with the RangeMax Next Wireless-N Adapters (WN511B, WN311B, WN121T"
Good luck with your situation, I'm rooting for you:)

You can add more ethernet ports by purchasing a 4 port hub or 8 port hub.
Connect a LAN cable from the Netgear wireless router to one of the ports on the hub and then connect the other computers to the ports on the hub.
