All 3 LED's are blinking on my 56 inch LCD Model

first try re-seating the lamp by pulling it out and sliding it back in. You would need to take off right side back cover. Sometimes this can clear the error and may fix the problem altogether. If no, try clean All the fans inside the Television to preserve the life of the lamp.

My Samsung television HL-R4667W has

Hi,
Fan #2 is the lamp fan. I thought you are referring to DMD fan (fan #1) that you had been replaced. Fan connector #1 has a cable connected to the board. They are seat in side-by-side(same size connector and color, yellow and red) by the connector of the Fan #2(lamp fan). Pull-out this connector and then re-insert and ensure that it is securely connected to the board. Try if the symptoms still there, if yes then replaced the Lamp Fan.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

I'd like to brighten up the picture kinda dim

Turn up contrast to 95 and turn down brightness accordingly. If it is oddly dim, you may have a problem with the backlight.

How do you replace a bulb in samsung projection tv

There is a video of the procedure here: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/HL-S5686W . Make sure to get the exact matching lamp code number and type. This is listed on the right side of the TV and on the lamp case.

Then turn off the TV and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Make sure not to touch the glass with your bare hands (particularly with the new lamp). Remove the single screw from the lamp cover and then remove the lamp cover. Remove the lamp cover duct by holding the locker and pulling it towards you. Next remove the screw holding the lamp in the housing. Separate the lamp from the housing by holding the handle and pulling it towards you. Reverse the process with the new lamp. Make sure the lamp cover is seated properly and the screw tightened to get the TV to come on.

I hope this helps.

Hi , 2 weeks ago i noticed some dead pixels

White pixels are STUCK pixels, not dead. Read the warranty beacuse at a certain number of stuck/dead pixels, the tv is repaired for free by the seller if is in warranty period.

After turning on the TV, picture and sound are

Hi miskokids.

I had a similar problem with my 42 in Philips LCD HDTV. I may have the solution to your problem.

Here was MY problem. My Power Supply Board had several bad capacitors. I opened my TV (warranty was expired of course) and found four bulged capacitors on the PSB. Many major electronics companies Philips/Magnavox, Sony, Panasonic, and others were sold capacitors that failed in 2-5 years instead of 10-20. The capacitors fail prematurely due to a lack of preservatives. Unfortunately, they were installed in all sorts of devices and cause a wide range of failure problems.

Here are some options for you to consider.

1. Have it fixed by a professional $$$$$$$??????? (Is it under warranty?)

Remember, TVs CONTAIN HIGH VOLTAGE AND CAN KILL YOU! Do this at your own risk.

2. Open your TV and find PSB. (The board that the power cord plugs into) Check for faulty caps. If you find some (bulged or leaking) bad caps replace the entire board. They can be found online. I would definitely shop around though.

3. Remove and then replace individual faulty caps. This takes some soldering skill.

Caps are inexpensive and if you can take care of it yourself it will save you hundreds.

This may be your problem. If you determine that it might be.

I have a Tip/How TO tutorial on this site that may also help. It will, at the very least, give you a general idea of the process. It gives step by step instructions for replacing caps on PSB #715t2432-2. If this is your board you are in luck. Here is the Link: Fixing the Philips Turns/shuts off on its own problem.

Hope this helps.

My samsung dlp hl-s5686w turns for a minute video

I'm having the same problem. Tried several things from dusting the inside with an air blower, removing the bulb and putting it back in, making sure the side panel is installed correctly and none of this has kept it from shutting off. Samsung's site says the three lights flashing means replace the bulb but I'm not buying it. My picture looks perfect....jsut that the TV keeps turning off. It all seems like a heating problem but my fans are still working. I'm scratching my head thinking what to try before forking out $150 for a new bulb.

Samsung dlp dnie

just from personal exp the easiest thing to do may fix or at least make it better. if u see puffed and leaky caps on power supply replace capacitors. if really dusty clean. both previously mentioned and both helped me. my tv was completely dead and replacing caps got it to power back up and work. it takes two trys to come on but works great so far. then i cleaned every nook and cranny with a small vacuum hose and different size/angle brushes that could be attached to hose. i only took out the psb board with caps and didnt touch anything in there that i could mess up. just cleaning helped enhance the colors. right now this is the best picture ive had on a tv and it was completly dead when i got it.

You need a color wheel--common on these sets. Get a real phillips bulb and you should be set for awhile. The cheap generic bulbs are fine to get you through a few MONTHS....but NOT much longer. . An E22H-120/132 watt lamp is correct--and if you can replace just the bulb-(NOT hard at all to do) it will save you a LOT of money.
