My computer don't see my MP3 Insignia Player. Why

Ensure that the battery is charged and your player is turned on. If the player still is not recognized, try connecting with a new cable as cables can also become defective. As a troubleshooting step, see if a different computer will recognize your player. If another computer does, you may need to contact your computer's manufacturer for further assistance. Additional troubleshooting steps can be found in the owner's manual.

It is froze up. How do I get it to play again?

The ONLY thing you can do is remove the battery to RESET your unit. If that doesn't work, then unfortunately, the device has faulted, essentially, they are unrepairable.

My insignia ns-dv4g will not display the songs

Song files must be in MP3 format. If they are in WMA or AAC format they will not work with this player. It is an MP3 player only.

Also, if you are attempting to transfer DRM (protected) content to the player without authorizing the player for the content, there will be a warning message that states the license has expired for the content.

Make sure your files are in MP3 format and load again. If this isn't working then the player has a different problem. At this point try resetting the player by using a straightened paperclip, inserting in the hole on the bottom edge of the unit, press in until you feel a light click and hold for 5 seconds. Remove the paperclip and restart the player.

If the issue persists after converting all files to MP3 and resetting, there is a deeper issue with this player and will probably not playback music files. It can only be used as a radio.

Unfortunately this unit is no longer in stock at Best Buy and has reached End of Life a couple of years ago.

Hope this helps.

How i transfer music from my insignia sport to my

The Insignia Sport works just like a flash drive.

When you connect the sport to the laptop with a USB cable, you shoudl see a window asking what you want to do with the player. If not you can go to "My Computer" and see the player as another drive.

When you open the Insignia player you should see the music files and can transfer them off the player and onto your laptop.

If you are looking at transfering DRM (protected) music files, you should be able to transfer them but they will not play on a computer that was not authorized by the content provider.

Hope this helps!
