I have a philips go

Windows media player has the ability to add/remove/manage media on mp3 players, with media player running, plug the mp3 player in and wait for the computer to respond. Media player should ask you if you want to manage songs on your player.
Alternatively, the Philips website will have a copy of the software to download.
Good luck.

My son has a philips go gear mp3 player 2gb some

Ok, just make sure you put songs that are compatible with the player like mp3 or wma, but most preferably, mp3. if you put any other format than mp3 it will only appear as a file in the flash and will not play.

How do i put music on my philips gogear sa261

If some CD came with it, pop in the CD and do what it tells you to. If not, than you can use Windows Media Player and sync the music from there. There is a small "Sync" tab on the top of the media player, and plug in your device and it will recognize than you start putting the songs on it.
