How do I fix a paper jam?
You said it is not used often. If there has been a paper jam and you removed the jammed paper sometimes it helps to unplug the device to clear the error conditions. Another possible problem is a tiny peace of debris still inside the machine blocking a switch or other sensor. If there has never been a jam it still could have some bit of foreign material down in the machine. These are the most likely causes

After looking at the manufacturer's website I can see that the printer is only supported through XP. Do not despair however! You can still run the printer through a virtual machine using Windows XP Mode. A great tutorial is put out by Microsoft that explains how to use this feature in Windows 7. You can find it here:

Print puctrues on my computer
Open the picture you want to print in your favorite image editing or picture organizing software and click the printer icon in it's toolbar or go to File->Print. If your printer is properly setup the picture should print.
I am getting lines across
have you checked the flow of the ink...
there may be some particles or dust blocking the way of the ink flow
