• Did you try moving the bronze colored thing?

That is a strange one there. I recall Xbox having an issue like that, but only if you were holding a button or control when the game started. I would say, take it to a friend's house and try it there. If it still does it, then you have a rare bad copy with bad code.

Some tv's are sketchy with the connections you can use. I would sugest HDMI for an LCD tv. You can control the frame refresh rate via the PS3 too.Then again, after looking closer at the picture you have catagorized, you are talking about a PS2? All you need is a RFU adapter, and it will work just fine. ^^ Good luck.

It sounds like your disk reader has somehow shifted. The laser is no longer making contact with the correct spot on the disk. You can look up a youtube video that will walk you through the process of realignment or you can contact a local used game store that will work on it for you. Sometimes it is a matter of dust worming its way into the case (It can block the laser making it think you have no disk inserted) you can take a can of air and blow the dust out. You can find canned air at most stores that sell technology Walmart, Bestbuy, Staples. If this doesn't fix it then you'll need to get the laser realigned. Oh and don't just try and blow the air out like its one of the those cartage games the pressurized can has more power then you can manage. (besides you don't want a big puff of dust in your face I know this from personal experience) I hope this helps

That's a tough on, since they didn't make direct replacement part for the ps2. However, if you have the old one with you, all you have to do is go to your local electronics store, and match a new one with the old one. Another way to do it, if you don't have the old belt, is to take a piece of string around the pulleys and tie a knot for the size. (NOTE) It doesn't have to be perfect when drive belts are concerned. A little big, or a little small will be just fine. Good luck and hope this helps.

Here is the procedure to reset the parental lock code: 1. Bring up a screen where the unit asks you to enter in the parental code. You can either insert a restricted disc, or enter the DVD setup menu and go to "parental control" under custom setup. 2. When the screen asks for the code, press the SELECT button, then enter in the code "7444". 3. The level adjustment under Parental Control dictates the strictness of the player. The lower the value, the more strict it will be. Either increase the value to lower the restriction, or disable the lock entirely by setting it to "off". 4. Once you have made your adjustments, be sure that the DVD tray is empty, and press the RESET button on the front of the Playstation 2. It is imperative the tray is clear of any DVD or game for the unit to save your settings.

This is usually a matter of cleaning. If the nodes on either your controller end or the system itself are dirty you could have a bad connection that would cause your controller to all kinds of wacky stuff. Use some cleaner like alcohol and a q-tip and clean the ends. If that doesn't work your proabably better off buying a new controler then trying to fix it.

Depends which game your playing... Usually go under saved games and pick it.

I had a PS2 with a similar problem. your best bet is to find another cord and try it with your system. (Sometimes the cords just play out). You said your screen is blurry though so it is most likely a bad connection between your cord and the port on your TV. Lastly if you can\'t find another cord to try you can attempt to clean your own with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol.Unfortunately if that doesn\'t work then your looking at problem with your motherboard. At that point your better off to go buy a still working PS2 then have your own fixed. good luck

the PS2 does not have a wifi adapter native to the console. but if im missing something and you are just wanting to change the network password because you have the network adapter already or the slim PS2 which has the built in ethernet socket the PS2 manual states 'Put in Play Station 2 network disc' this should have the settings option on it to update the password.

The Temple of Euryale Down the stairs, smash the petrified Legionnaires to shatter them, releasing red orbs. Continue on to the right and quickly shatter the petrified enemies before they break free. You can use Golden Fleece to reflect the Legionnaires attacks back at them. Prepare to reflect when their weapon begins to glow blue and they leap up into the air. Start climbing down the ladder at the end of the hall. Down below, some petrified enemies break free and a hulking Minotaur appears. Quickly shatter the Legionnaires that have yet to break free and then immediately turn your attention to the other enemies. The Minotaur is surprisingly easy to kill if you have a full magic meter. By using Typhon's Bane you should be able to bring the Minotaur down to its takedown stage. When the Circle appears over the Minotaur's head, approach it and press the Circle button to start the takedown. Press the two buttons that appear on screen then finally rotate the Left Analog Stick as shown to finish the beast off. Unfortunately, once you have killed enough enemies, another Minotaur appears, but at least if you kill off the first quickly, you won't have to face two of them at the same time. For the Legionnaires use Plume of Prometheus (Square, Square, Triangle) and most importantly, use Golden Fleece to reflect their leap attack. The two lifts in this room influence the height of each other. Since the soldier removed the handle from the lift on the other end of the room, you must use the lift that still has a handle to raise the lift that does not have one. Raise the lift that you used to reach this room as high up as you possibly can while still allowing you to drop down from the lift to the room below. This raises the broken lift up to that same height, allowing you to then climb up onto the raised lift and scale the wall using the ridges along the wall

Replace your CD drive or better yet go to a pawn shop or walmart and purchase a different PS2

I have a similar problem except I have a Diamond Vision (small) TV and I have my ps3 (The old one not the new one) hooked up to it but I can't seem to find the channel to display it? (I do not have the remote to my TV)

PS2 does not have a browser. You will need a newer system.
