Sharp does not have the manual for the EL-533, but there is one for the EL-531 (click the link to go). It's very close and similar.For some reason they just don't have the EL-533 on site.Hope this helps (remember to rating this free answer leave some testimonial comments).

There is no common logarithm function on this calculator. However, you can calculate it easily enough using the natural logarithm function (ln). The log of x is equal to ln(x) / ln(10). In words, calculate the log of a number by calculating its ln then dividing by ln of ten.

Use "y^x" key (to the left of "1/x" key).

Log mentioned above is base 10. Hope this helps.
