It means that your fuser unit has reached its lifespan: you can still use the machine but be aware you will need a fuser rebuild in the near future

Ok so the DK code means that the Black drum counter has reached its limit
To clear this you need to clear this easy you want
# , * , c , *
To enter service mode
Type in code 24 press start
Then you want sub code 07
Then you can select what you want to clear so the bk drum unit
Execute this yes then press the CA key the machine will restart and away you go
I also do advise that you service representative comes along at some point to check the machine it could need parts because if you stretch the life of parts your machine could become unreliable... But that is up to you.

F1-00 lost communication with the finisher, check the connection between the copier and the finisher. Shut the machine off, reset the connector then restart the machine.

The paper exit cooling fan is not working. Reboot machine, if the code comes back, you'll probably have to get the fan replaced. The fan is one of the two located over the right side door.

Got in with random trialling passwords for the Administrator... finally found the default password for Administrator on the Sharp MX2300N was "admin". Should have known...

Got in, set up the IP's and away we go again. Did not have to go in with any maintenance mode or re-setting the whole system.

The U2 errors are usually related to memory or board level issues. You should try to disconnect the fax and network and then kill the main power inside the cover. Turn the main power on and then when you get a solid green light on the control panel press that power switch. If the machine boots with everything disconected then try conecting the options one at a time and try rebooting each time to see if you can narrow down the problem. Envelopes must be run from the bypass tray at the side of the machine. touch the paper trays on the touch screen. Set the bypass to envelope and com10. when you go to print, make sure the paper type is set to envelope under printer preferances.
