Kenmore Elite Dishwasher starts to fill, then stops

My best guess is the door latch or door latch switch is not working properly. Once the unit is full of water try holding the door shut tightly if the unit runs by doing this check the top rack and make sure it is completely seated to the back. I have found a knife or fork tangled in the top rack and letting it seat, also the alignment of the water line for the top rack. If it does not run with what I have suggested, it will be time to start checking the mainboard operation. I hope this helps

Why does water drip from the right side of the door

Either the dishwasher is not level (it might be leaning forward), or else the door seal is bad. There's a couple other things that could cause it to leak too, like too much water going in; water not draining completely out between cycles; too much soap, etc. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27

On my Kenmore model 665.13489K900, it does not clean well and appears to have a problem with getting or circulating water inside to all areas, especially the top shelf.

Check the center wash arm assembly. If the center wash arm isn't getting water, all of the dishes in the upper rack will come out dirty. Check to be sure the center wash arm assembly is mating properly with the water supply nozzle in the back of the dishwasher. Also check to be sure the little holes in the center wash arm aren't clogged or blocked. * Run empty cycle using vinegar and baking soda lime scale problem will resolve.

Kenmore dishwasher ultra was quiet guard 3 model

that would be model # 66516012403 correct??
you may have inadvertently set the lock on function..
check this out from your manual...

Lock On
Use the Lock On to prevent unintended use of the dishwasher
between cycles. You can also use the lock feature to prevent
unintended cycle or option changes during a cycle.
When LOCK ON is lit, all buttons are disabled.
NOTE: The dishwasher door can be opened while the controls
are locked. However, the lock must be turned off and the Start/
Resume button pressed to resume the cycle.
To turn on the Lock
Press and hold HEATED DRY for 4 seconds. LOCK ON glows.
If you press any pad while your dishwasher is locked, the light
flashes 3 times.
NOTE: If the Heated Dry option is selected, the light will
temporarily turn off until Lock On glows.
To turn off the Lock
Press and hold HEATED DRY for 4 seconds. The light turns off.

hope this helps,
best of luck,
ttfn

Dishwasher backing up

sound like you have a few things going on there.there is a float switch which is located at the front right side of dish washer, make sure this floats freely . also sounds as through your drain line may have become plugged. Ease to fix , remove the line and hard line from the pump with a set of plyers. and remove the debris from the diaphram within the hard line.. before starting this be sure to remove as much water from within the dishwash, easiest way is to use a shop vac.

Kenmore Elite Dishwasher Model# 665.15912001

Yeah, I have a similar problem. I tried to go into a suggested diagnostic run, but that didn't yield anything. I tried pushing the Sani-Rinse and Air Dry buttons back and forth a number of times. Didn't help.
At first I thought the lock-on had accidently been engaged, but disengaging the "child lock" doesn't help. The lock-on light comes back on and sometimes blinks rapidly. I"ve counted around 7 rapid blinks at times and 3 rapid blinks at other times--in case that makes a difference. The control panel doesn't work--in other words, the dishwasher does not start, even when I can successfully get other lights to come on. I don't want to spend >$100. for a new control panel if that is not really the problem.

Unfortunately, that sounds like a control board issue, although if you are lucky, it is just bad connections _to_ the control board. They are expensive so need correct diagnosis by a tech. Then you get warranty on the parts and the job.

This is my Kenmore dishwasher serial number: F24830624. Can someone tell me how old it is?

February 2004. To determine the age of your appliance, use your serial number (not model number) to find date of manufacture. Kenmore serial numbers begin with two letters followed by six numbers. The 2 letters at the beginning of the serial number tell you the month and year it was made. Jul 13, 2021

Dishwasher isn't filling with water

It sounds like your Kenmore dishwasher is having an issue with water not filling up in the tub. There could be a few different reasons why this is happening. One possibility is that the dishwasher's water inlet valve is malfunctioning. This valve controls the flow of water into the dishwasher and if it's not functioning properly, it could be preventing water from entering the tub. You may need to replace the water inlet valve in order to fix the issue. Another potential cause could be a clogged or dirty filter screen or spray arm. If these parts are not working correctly, it could be causing the water flow to be disrupted, which could lead to the dishwasher not filling with water. Cleaning or replacing these parts could solve the issue. It's also possible that there's an issue with the dishwasher's float switch. This switch is responsible for monitoring the water level in the tub and if it's malfunctioning, it could be causing the dishwasher to stop filling up with water. You may need to replace the float switch to fix the issue. Finally, there could be a problem with the dishwasher's control board or timer. If these parts are malfunctioning, it could be causing the dishwasher to stop filling with water or not complete a cycle. In this case, you may need to replace the control board or timer to fix the issue. It's recommended to check these potential causes one by one until you identify the root cause of the problem. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, you may want to consider contacting a professional appliance repair technician to help you diagnose and fix the issue.
