Sounds to me like a short circuit on your light cluster. check for shorted out pins, or, even more possible is that a single contact bulb has been put in a double contact holder. Remove all bulbs and replace and test them one at a time as you replace them.

Tail lights not working

Not for tail lights.
GeT a 12 Volt probe screwdriver with the handle that lights up or volt meter. Remove the bulb turn on tail lights clip to any good ground and put the probe tip on the bump at the bottom of the socket and it should lite up. Now clip ground to side wall of socket and probe both bumps in the center one bump is tail the other is brake. Have someone push on brakes and see if they light when on one bump then check tail on other bump. DO NOT TOUCH THE SIDE WITH CENTER PROB OR IT WILL SHORT BE CAREFUL. this will tell you where the problem is,

Also check fuse holder.
leave fuse in clip to ground turn on tail light and probe both ends of fuse for power.

Hope this helps Mike

Turn signal not working

TAIL LIGHT NOT WORKING

It can be faulty tail light bulb or its issue with tail light control switch or its wiring's are short.

Check the voltage at fuse slot of tail light.Do you receive 12 volt there. If not, then it says tail light switch is not receiving power supply.

The tail lights do not work. The headlights, blinkers, and brake lights work. I checked the fuses and they are all good.

Brake lights don't work. Replaced bulbs, checked

Yes, you need to of course check the voltage coming into and going out of the brake light switch, if 12 Volts are there going out and coming in while pressing on the brake pedal, your brake lights aren't getting a good ground or there is a break in the circuit between that switch & the lights.

On occasion the tail lights will work with a weak ground circuit where the Brake lights won't. Best way to determine this is to just hook up the 12 volt tester to the Brake light hot wire & there at the bulb ground, then in an area away from the bulb that has a good possibility of contact/ground.

Really that's it, if the 12Volts is getting to the bulb but it isn't lighting, if you aren't getting the voltage there and the brake switch is hot on both sides when pressed, the break in voltage will have to be traced from that switch to the tail light to find the problem.

good luck.

The right tail and brake light doesn't work but the left one do. bulbs has been changed it's not them

Have someone pull the bulb, and check for 12 volts as you press brake pedal, if no voltage, check the harness, make sure nothing in the trunk has interfered with the wiring.

When brakes are applied parking and dash board lights come on.when headlights are on,brake lights and tail lights do not work.very first symptom was an intermittent tail or brake light out indicator...

you might have an open ground wire on your brake/tail lights .. when you apply the brakes then power would flow thru the brake light (not see ground) so would then provide power backwards thru the parking light (common ground open) to all the other things connected to the parking lights .. like the other parking lights and dash ... when you turn power on to those things (headlights on) then there is 12 volts on both sides of the light .. thats why the lights quit working ... if the missing ground is the problem then most of the lights that are improperly turning on should be at a lowered brightness level.. interesting problem .. its also possible to have a brake light bulb that has the common ground open inside or not making connection with its socket .. i would start by removing the brake lamps and see if the problem goes away .. if it does look for a broken ground or damaged lamp ..

Access to tail light wiring harness plug

You have to remove the access panel on the interior side of the passenger compartment to access that connector.. it's a simple procedure after you see the wire harness and bulkhead boot.

2003 dodge durango driver side brake light not working

Use a 12 Volt test light at the tail light connector and see if power is present at the harness, this would indicate a possible defective bulb socket.
