My 06 chevy equinox tc light and abs light is on when you push the brake s sometimes it want stop the pedal is hard .the scanner shows a left front wheel speed sensor i have changed the hub and sensor but no change in the problem I have checked the wiring up to the module nothing problem has been going on for 6 months can any one help

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

Rotors could be one problem.Check fluid level.Who did the brakes.Abs is sensor which is in hub bearings .Could be bad.

Nothing to do with brake rotors/pads etc

You have an ABS Braking System Malfunction
that needs to be resolved

The abs controller is doing odd things & it
really isn't that safe to use right now

Try a local repair shop

Have them check the codes & only
diagnose & repair the abs issue,
don't need a dog & pony show on other items

Have them prove they can do one job at a time

i can help you with this, i have a 06 chevy equinox, that has this problem, i hope that you still have a warrenty, and not an extended one, abs light came on brake feels like it is grinding on the pedal, this is caused by the wheel bearings, i took mine in and the dealer put it on there computer, it said that my front left wheel bearing was bad, dealer replaced it, it still does it.
if you do still have a warrenty, have the dealer change all wheel bearings.

same problem we bought ours a few months ago thinking we were getting a good car but have had nothing but trouble with it for the last 2 months. same thing our abs light came on along with the tracktion control light and the brakes get really stiff with the pulsating. i have read that it could be a bad pigtail wiring harness to the computer. i will tell you one thing i will never buy another chevy." bummed out in bellingham wa".

ABS is done with on ur chevy. get it repaired or changed if needed.

you may have a ABS problem. I would drive it and attemp to skid the tires an dsee if the pump activates. sometimes this will unstick any valves inside the ABS unit. you may need to have a qualified repair shop check deeper. the ABS will have a code, and a scanner will be needed to check further.

This my not be the same issue but I had the T/C led come on and had to have the HUB sensor replaced....2x now. I was having issues with my brakes, the ABS would kick on & then the TC and ABS lights would both go on. Might be something to look into.
