Where is the 02 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 located on a 2001 Chevrolet lumina ?

The two manifolds are named "Bank 1" and "Bank 2", with "Bank 1" describing the manifold that is closer to the passenger compartment, and "Bank 2" describing the manifold that is closest to the front of the car. "Sensor 1" is located between the manifold and the catalytic converter, while "Sensor 2" is located between the catalytic converter and the joint of the y-pipe.

When you open the hood, bank 2 should the front bank of cylinders. Bank 1 is where number 1 cylinder in the firing order is located. The 02 sensors are in the exhaust. Sensor 2 is usually after the cat.

As far as the sensor, you talking about 02 sensor? Bank one has the number 1 cylinder, bank 2 is the other bank, sensor 1 is the first sensor you come to, in the exhaust.

Between the engine and fire wall, on the exhaust manifold. Center of the engine.

Bank 1 sensor 1 means the first oxygen sensor closest to the motor. The location is probably in the exhaust manifold, if not then follow the pipe from there and it's the first one you find. Hope this helps

the O2 bank 1 sensor 2 its located on the passenger side after the catalyst converter, you will see two sensors in this side of the exhaust its the second sensor

check for a blown fuse, if it is blown replace it, if it blows again after engine is started you have either a shorted O2 sensor or the wiring leading to the up stream or down stream sensors.
