Get an OBDII reader and connect to see what error codes you are getting. Limp mode can be caused by many different things including problems with the transmission.

Why wont my 1998 siverado go over 35 mph

Sounds like the computer is in limp home mode. You need to put a scanner on it and see if there is a code in the computer. Hope this helps.

1990 chrysler new yorker will not shift into overdriver

You may have to have your ******/computer ran for any codes to give you a better idea of why it is limp mode. There are many causes of limp mode. A sensor or solenoid or bad wire will send the computer into limp mode. The TPS and map sensor both can affect limp mode

2006 Chrysler 300 wont go over 35 mph. Also will not shift into lower Drive gears

It is in limp mode. Have the transmission computer scanned for codes. It likely has a bad speed sensor. If it has a code in the trans computer, the computer will lock the transmission is second gear.

2010 georgetown rv made it150miles no power can`t get over 35 mph when it down shifts like dies has triton v10

You should be under warranty for free repairs. If you are too far from a Dealer you can get a free scan at Oreillys or Autozone.

It sounds like you are in "Limp home" mode. All the sensors for the engine and trans have to agree on where they are at. Look for loose wires or hoses under the hood. Check your owners manual for "Limp Home" mode. Good Luck to you.

1997Plyouth Grand Carvan will not shift in to gear.Gets up to 35 or 40 mph and will not shift

your van is going into "limp" mode,
when the computer sees a problem from the transmission it will not up shift but will remain in low gear so you can limp to a shop for repairs,
it will also clear the faulty code every time you turn the key off then back on,but if the problem shows up again it will go to limp mode, three things cause your problem,
first is a speed sensor,if your speedometer is working it is not that.
input sensor,or output sensor both are easy fixes, they just screw in to the transmission.
