Not really enough info from you about your car or problem. A rough guess would be the transmission mount is loose, worn, broken or otherwise damaged. When you say "beeping noise", is that like the sound you hear when a bus or emergency vehicle is placed in reverse, or is it more like a mechanical squeaking or chirping type noise? Check your transmission mount. That may be your problem. Hope this helps you out.

check your rotors

lubricating rubber or plastic makes the wear worse
replace the worn or failing parts

Check your universal joints

Yup, U-joints do squeeek and a a good place to start. Does the joint show any signs of rusting? If so, it's your culprit.

It is possible that the shift linkage is out of adjustment and is going into neutral and not making it to Reverse, try moving the gear selector slowly from park, through reverse to Neutral, and see if it will go into reverse somwhere in between. If this does not work ,you may have Reverse gear failure, a common problem with explorer/ranger transmissions. unfortunatly it requires rebuilding the transmission

Possibly dirt in the grooves of the belt. remove the belt and clean the grooves with a wire brush. If you get a lot of dirt and powder out of it clean it good and reinstall. Might work. did for mem on my 03 Sebring.
