The front brakes not releasing can only be restricted rubber brake hoses & rusted caliper pistons,as well as rust on every sliding surface & no lube, for calipers & pads
Master cylinder could be bad there's also a possibility that the valve that allows the separate front to rear fluid pressures is not working properly disconnect the line going to the front brakes at the caliper then have someone lightly push down and see if fluid comes out that way sounds like it could be a bad Master but it's not always the problem
