Brack lines How do I run the back brack lines.

You duplicate the original lines, so you can use the OE
mounting clips,etc

You can change the shape & routing, if it make it easier, because
of your bend configurations

hi,if it has drum bracks it could be brack dust inside the drum,if its disk bracks they might need copper- slick put on the brack pades,on the side that faces the brack-caliper.

Air in brake line ? fluid not flowing out at rear wheel when bleeding brackes

auto parts stores sell inexpensive brake bleeder kits that have a manually operated vacuum pump. one of these will probably work for the problem. good luck, hope this helps.

check your brake switch under your steering colum, attatched to the brake, kinda hard to see.

Back brackes locked up

you have one of two problems.. either your equalizer valve is hungup and keeping the brakes locked or the master cylinder has a piston boot blown and reversed one way is too crack the line going to the rear at the equalizer valve and see if they back off the other is to crack opn the line at the master cylinder

Look at either a Haynes book or Chilton book, try the library thye usually have the books. Most have the pictures that are basically the same for all rear drum type brakes.

Brack pad change on 2003 volvo s40

It is the same as the older cars.
Just change the pads as usual.
It`s when you come to bleed the brakes that problems arise.

Front brackes dragging

Change the hoses from your calipers to the frame. It's a rubber looking line. Inside of those lines there is a valve and if that valve is not functioning properly, when you release the brake pedal it doesn't allow fluid to come back to the resevoir and therefore gives you the feeling you are driving with the brake on. Change them both sides and see if that helps
