Have you "reset" the computer on the car. When parts are replaced, the comp continues to run the vehicle on all the old settings which can drive you nuts because nothing you do will fix a problem. Usually, taking both battery cables off and waiting for 15 minutes will reset the computer. If this does not do it, then ask a dealer how to reset yours.

I already reset the computer and I talked to the dealer. They said that there is no reset button except for the fuse and the battery.

No button on any vehicle, but if you reset computer, it will have to be in the sensors. Idle control sensor. MAF or oxygen.

Hi John, I replaced the map and oxygen sensor (before and after) and reset the computer. The idle is still erratic.

I can only guess then that some of the valves are not seating right. What else could it be, is what I am thinking.

Recommend checking your IAC (Idle Air Control) circuit. This allows air to bypass the throttle body while idling, at stop sign, etc.

High and sporadic idle speed. I just cleaned the IAC valve, put everything back together and now my idle is wack? Any ideas what it might be?

Hello my name is autoteck21 sounds like you dealing with one of two things. #1 Either you have a vacuum leak in one of your hoses or your vacuum box at the worst case one of your vacuum control solenoid. #2 Your idle air control module (under your throttle body.)
To test #1 take a can of brake clean or carb/choke cleaner and in small 2-3in areas spray little spots while engine is running listen too your idle for any changes (you will here the differences) if so there's your leak.
To test #2 find the little connector (2 wire) under your throttle body (when standing in front of your car lower front side under intake pipe hose clamp)

How can I adjust the rpm's on a 2004 Hyundai XG350L

You can not adjust rpm's, it is controlled by the engine computer. if you idle is not right, either your throttle position sensor is not right, or your idle air control is malfunctioning, although there can be numerous other causes for erratic idle (vacuum leaks, throttle body or air filter needs servicing, etc.).

try this remove the throttle cable from the throttle body and re-ve the engine with the just the linkage on the side of the throttle body if the engine responds like it should replace the throttle cable if the throttle still sticks then replace the throttle body......good luck
