My 2007 chevrolet colorado does not have electric door locks.
Do you have a wiring diagram of the wiring for the locks?
Are the wires allready in the door for the locks.
Thank you for any information you can give me.
You don't need a wiring diagram. There are no wires in the door if you don't have power locks already. If you buy an aftermarket power lock kit, they come with all the wiring needed and most of the time plug in under the dash and go thru rubber plugs in the door jam with very little wire splicing. Just follow the instructions that come with the kit.
First off you need a Chiltons manual for that specific vehicle. As for the wiring, I would venture a guess as to they are not present, but you may get lucky when you snatch off the door panels. Lastly, you can find electric door looks in the JC Whitney catalog, but its gonna cost you, but if you do it yourself, less than what an aftermarket shop would cost you. Good luck.

Yea , could be a couple thing's , the motor , window regulator , no B+ voltage to switch or window motor ! Videos on youtube trouble shooting power windows . Watch videos on basic automotive electrical testing , how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter , how to read a wiring diagram . You can find a free wiring diagram at http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html c
see the diagram attached and think clearly and logically, NOT feared. test any connection continuity, fuses, see for corrosion, tes the switch for defective or dirty, and motor.,loose connector or connector God bless you
No power to the switch. The wiring harness on some models is threaded through the door at the hinges. Opening and shutting the door over time breaks one of the wires causing the switch to fail. Or the switch itself might have come loose from the plug. You can take the armrest apart and locate the switches. Also you can use a jumper wire to give power directly to the motor (power windows?).
this sounds like the wiring between the body and door at the rubber boot in the door jam Grab the rubber boot shake it and see if it will make a difference .
