Hi, I have a refurbished RFG297AARS from Samsung that we purcased as a refurb about 7 days ago. On day 1-3, a puddle of water formed under the back right underside of the fridge, without the water line being hooked up. I went ahead and hooked up the water line on day 4, and it makes ice and water just fine, but still a puddle of water forms under the fridge. There is no condensation in the fridge, no water under deli bin, no water in the freezer, just water under the fridge. Any thoughts? It can't be related to the water line, because it did it for 3 days before it was even hooked up. and how much might it be to repair something like this? I am in North County San Diego if anyone can recommend a repair guy for out-of-warranty fridge. Thx.

Chances are its either the drip line or drip tray.. there is a drain to route the condensation pulled out of the fridge and freezer that leads to a drip pan underneat the unit.

Either the drip tray was not installed.. reinstalled incorrectly or the drain tube is leaking or no longer directed to it, or it's overflowing due to excess condensate.

Best of luck!

Why do I have a puddle under my fridge every couple days but no sign of a drip or leak?

If it is an automatic defrost fridge the it will have a hose draining down into a container under the fridge, make sure it is draining where it should and has,not become dislodged. Some have a small tray with either pipes inside it or an electric heater. Some have a container sitting on top of the compressor, both of these are used to evaporate the water.
check to make sure there are no holes in the water catcher.
if you have an electric heater that is not functioning then the container will be already full of water and at each defrost cycle will overflow onto the floor.

A puddle of water forms under the machine and

Hi
If its dirty water your drain in back is plugged. There is a pocket below the injector nozzle that the pressure is relieved in when the brewing is done. This pocket can get clogged with residue after a while and then overflows under the drip tray. The drain is in back just above the back of the drip tray. If you pour water in the pocket it should come out the drain. If it doesn't, clean out the pocket, and that should take care of it. If it does,t, I need more information.

The touch screen now works intermitantly, and it appears that their is a mist on the inside (water??). No one has opened this unit up. Is it warrenteed? What is the fix for this?

It sounds as if a small amount of water or moisture has entered the GPS.

The 2730 is now a discontinued product, and if bought new, is likely out of warranty. If purchased recently (less than a year) as a factory refurbished device, it would normally be covered under a Garmin Factory warranty. Water damage however, may not be covered.

If it is no longer covered, Garmin offers a "flat rate" repair for $170. Learn how to go about obtaining this service at the site below:

http://www8.garmin.com/support/warranty.html

A couple things come to mind... at $170, to me - it doesn't seem to make much sense to repair, when "like new" factory refurbished GPS units can be had for the same / less money. The refurbs come with 1 year warranties (instead of a 90 day type after repair) & latest version of maps.

Lastly, if you don't want to do either of the suggestions above, you could attempt removing the back cover and allowing the device to fully dry out in direct sunlight for a day or two. Reassemble and operate the GPS again. Doing this sooner rather than later will increase the chances of successful drying with having permanent water damage.

Good luck!

Freezer leaks since we moved it to fit vinyl flooring in kitchen

Generally there is a water tray at the very bottom that can be slide out and in with a hose attached to it. its for excess drainage.. with the moving of the refrigerator is sounds like maybe the hose can loose and causing youre puddle. I would start there first.
