Saeco Vienna De Luxe Espresso Machine Questions & Answers
Gfci trips. Hi - I
GFI safety trips whenever it detects moisture. Normally this happens when water splashes over when filling or brewing coffee. This has happened to me several times. You must dry the machine out totally inside and out. I have used a hair dryer successfully both times. It is possible that you have a short circuit. If you want to veryif that it is moisture and not a short circuit, plug your unit into an outlet that is not GFI protected. If it kicks the breaker, then you definately have a short circuit in the machine. This would require dismantling the machine to find where hot wires have come into contact with bare gound.
Will not power on
Hi There is a reset button or buttons depending on the boiler. That may be the problem or if it isn't the reset buttons its the board. If you need instructions for getting into the machine you will need to email me. This one and the next picture is the new style J boiler. The last picture is the old style boiler.

Machine Is Stuck on "VENTILATE" Command
I had this "Ventilate" problem after descaling my Saeco Incanto de luxe. I tried all posted suggestions within my capability/user level to no avail. Just when I thought I was going to need to contact customer service for repair, I went through the menu settings and selected "yes" for Factory Settings and the ventilate message went away and the machine was immediately "Ready for Use". Weird, but it worked for me.

You need to be sure the removeable grinding surface is clean and not clogged. If it is not clean, water has problems passing through the screen and the water cannot escape, staying in the puck...

SAECO TREVI NO HOT WATER
It would be cheaper to check the thermostat and heating element first and the wiring continuity, although I am not sure if you can find the replacement parts. If you can't, then it looks like you have no choice but to replace the entire assembly.
The tray below the coffee cup holder has coffee in
HI
The coffee residue is the result of the machine relieving its pressure into the drip tray. When it relieves its pressure, a little coffee residue with some water is released also, otherwise you would have an explosion of coffee inside your machine. If you are getting dry coffee in the drip tray you are getting an overcharge and that is not good. If you get residue under the drip tray, you have a blocked drain in the back of the machine just above the center of the drip tray.
Our Saeco Vienna Deluxe will not stop grinding.
Hi
3 things
1. Grind is too fine. Move to a very coarse grind, say 16.
2. Move the small knob to the - side and try again.
3. If that didn't work your going to have to clean you grinder.
