I hooked up my play station3 to an older tv and i get sound but no picture. How do i get the picture to come up to?

Device either has been muted by the console, or the input/connector could be loose. If either is not the case check the cord being used, and attempt all updates possible via both devices. If still have any issues see warranty for return assistance or contact store's for return assistance.

You'd be much better off just hooking up to the older TV directly instead of trying to run an input on the broken TV and then direct the output through another TV.

You can always find cheap video adapters to connect to the older TV if needed.

Just disconnect the audio card and check whether the TV works without it, and no problem is with the picture. If so, make sure the audio card has the problem. If not the main board is faulty. Try an older TV set. I am not joking. It might very well be the case that newer TV sets/high-end TV systems can't handle the signals of the older video game consoles. Because the newr tv;s don't have the signal transfer inside of them to make the old consoles work so you could use the genesis av cables to hook up to a digital tv instead of the rf switch.

Check ur RCA cable setting might have a short in the cables.

From the VCR to the tv if you have RCA cables its kind of hit and miss where the audio cord goes. Only one of the jacks are for sound but it has to be plugged in to the right input. Audio is usually the white one. Just keep touching it to inputs until you hear sound start to come out of the speakers. Hope it helps.
