I lost my disk for lexmark x4530 printer and have no luck downloading files from lexmark, anywhere.where's a good download or place to get a replacement disc.

You can download and install the Lexmark OCR scan software using the installation disc that came with your printer only. The software is not available for downloading online.

Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X4530 printer driver on your computer. Select your operating system > download > execute the file. Just follow the instructions on your computer screen.

I just solved this for myself. Download the vista drivers from the website. dont run the install when it downloads. First unzip the files to a folder on your desktop. Then right-click on the setup exe. Go to properties. select compatibility. Choose vista service pack 2. check the "run as admin" box near the bottom. THEN run the exe. good luck!

I suggest not to plug the Lexmark X4530 printer to your computer yet. Download and install the software first. There are Lexmark X4530 drivers available for download in the Lexmark website. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/bk4u0q. Click on the Microsoft or Macintosh dropdown found below the page to choose the version of the operating system of your computer. Then download and install the software. Follow the instructions on the software. Hope this helps.

Download link is half way down the page. Select the OS your computer has to get the correct driver.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

If you have Vista check if your model is on this list: Windows Vista -- Lexmark United States.
