How do I format the SDHC card on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35

I'm supplying you with a link to a PDF manual, I'm not sure how this will open on your computer but it should look like a review page right below the pictures of the camera is a bar within the bar will be "manual" click on that and a PDF download page/box opens. The PDF file is a good size at 17mb click on that and your computer will download the file.

Another thing that must be done to an SD or SDHC memory card is making sure the protection lock is in the correct orientation to receive data from the camera I'll include a diagram, it's from a Canon manual but all the Sd and SDHC memory card operate in the same manner.

From reading the manual it continually points to page 37 which is part of the camera set up menu.
It doesn't show a window however I would assume you would enter the set up mode and us the arrow keys to select "Format" it's the 3rd from the bottom of the set up menu page. Once there follow the on screen instruction. Here is a screen shot of the format instructions from page 37 of this manual.

Hope this was a help, the instruction in the manual are a bit vague.
