Try taking out the battery, then putting it back in. Also consider using a replacement battery to see if that's the issue. Your problem might be addressed in the user manual for the device:

Well, what language do you have it in now? The option should be in the settings of the device. Do you have a user manual in your language, or any for that matter? If not, you can check out the manual here:

Hey bro I have exactly the same problem, when i turn on the damn thing it just zooms right out and just keeps scrolling through the options. I think that it has to be some sort of software problem, there must be a way to reset it!

The camera is trying to focus, but can't. If you're trying to shoot something very close you may need to back away from the object. Try focusing on something in the distance to see if you can get the camera to focus and shoot.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

You can't. The camera does not include any battery charging circuitry. You must use the supplied battery charger (or a third-party compatible).

The Panasonic website doesn't have drivers for this camera listed. Check the link here: http://panasonic.com.au/Support/Customer+support/Downloads+and+documentation

Most likely this camera is plug'n'play and doesn't require specific drivers.

Hello

The most common reason for your problem is that something is stuck in your lens (like a grain of sand). Try spraying a compressed air into the lens or tap the lens repeatedly while your camera is facing downwards.
