My play station 3 wont stay on there is a game in there and i cant get it out it blinks red but wont stay on how do i fix it

Try turning off the PS3 at the back and then on again after about 15 - 20 seconds. When you turn it on, press the eject button.

Unfortunately this is the light of death, basically means play station is finished cant be repaired. Google red light of death on play station 3

Does the system go back on and stay on?

When you turn the console on does it imedistely shut off with 2 beeps the a yellow light and then a blinking red light?

Does the lights blink red? If so, You have the infamous YLOD, aka. Yellow Light of Death. (now it comes back on, eventually it won't) This is the number 1 cause of pS3's dying. It is an overheating issue linked to your CPU and GPU (the processor chips) You will need to find a local PS3 repair shop who can repair this. Do not try to attempt repairs seen on the internet yourself as some would suggest.You could make things much worse and render the unit totally unresponsive. The repair process takes about 3 hours.

you have to get the firmware for it cos u cant just put games on it and it will work

if your game is stuck in there DONT open it up or you will void the warranty
phone sony, they will organize a date to swap ps3's. + you keep your extended warranty

you meesed up your firmware. go on internet and search 2.40 firmware update ps3. download to memory stick and put in ps3 go to external devices click on flash drive do the update the ur done.

if it dont work, bring it to sony or place u bought it at. get a replacement.

Take it to the retailer you bought it from and ask them to replace it and the game, or phone Sony and ask for it to be fixed or replaced. I'm not sure if Sony can replace the game, though, so I'd suggest trying the retailer first.
