The same as everyone else on this site. My Lexmark x1270 All in One will print but will not scan. For three days i have removed, downloaded, removed, and downloaded the drivers from various sites to include Lexmark. I keep getting the message "lxczutil.dll cannot be found"

The driver file may be corrupted, try downloading the printer driver from the Lexmark WEB site.

The Lexmark scan software (OCR) can only be installed using the installation cd that came with the printer. It's not included in the driver you downloaded from the Lexmark website since it's a big file. Anyway, if you don't have the installation cd, you can request for it for free by contacting Lexmark Technical Support.

on the site from lexmark you can dowload compleet software pack and drivers look for lexmark.nl go to drivers software and select zoeken naar print drivers they are there i have also download compl software pack for free

I had the same problem 2 days ago.You must get onto the lexmark site and download a new driver,I did this and it worked a treat,think that drivers are probably out of date.Any more problems post on here and I will get back to you.Paul Stroughair (aka woodassessor)

Is this the driver you downloaded. If so , sounds like a Lexmark software or driver problem. I am a little confused as the heading on you question says x1270 but the bold type says 3350?

You can go to this link and download the software for this printer, then try installing the printer using the latest software http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi

This driver can be found at Lexmarx site: http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi

Click on Find Drivers & Downloads. In the search by model window type in X1270. Across the top of the screen right under "Technical Support" written in red, click on "Download Driver". Choose your Operaing System, then click on Download Now.

lexmark x1270 wont work with vista

The only way to setup the printer without the proper drivers would be to use windows add new printer. However windows does not have lexmark x1270 listed. You can dlownload the software from lexmark & install the software / drivers without using the cd.
