I have an Argos electric multi timer (MK9 2NW. Type: TS-EE8) but as I haven't used it for years I've lost the instructions< on reading the reviews on this product it seems that they don't always work &/or need charging, I've had mine on charge for a few days but can't get a reading so I don't know if its broke. I've searched the net but can't find the instructions, can anyone advice?
Thanks,
David.

Thanks! I plugged them in then then the next day I did that, 1 works but the other 1 doesn't, probably broke. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to reset your DC24. It's worth using something like the eraser-end of a pencil to press the reset button - you should feel a click when it's pressed correctly. The video I've attached shows how we recommend checking the machine for any issues before resetting it. Make sure the brush bar is free of any threads or hair, and the cleaner head is free of obstructions.
If you do need further help after you've given this a try, please get in touch with the Dyson customer Helpline so one of our experts can take you through some further troubleshooting checks. If a repair or replacement part is needed, we can also confirm whether this is covered under the machine's 5-year guarantee.
You can reach us by calling 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1-866-693-9766 (US).
I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty with your DC28. You haven't mentioned in your question whether your machine is displaying any indicator lights - these are designed to help you diagnose what the issue might be.
Generally, if the brush bar won't rotate, it may be because the brush bar is set too low for the type of carpet pile you're cleaning. Try raising it to the next available level to see if this helps. It's also important to keep the brush bar clear of any threads or hair, and to check the cleaner head is free of anything that could jam the brush bar - the video I've attached shows the correct way to do this.
Finally, the brush bar will never rotate when the machine is standing upright, or if you have the height selector set to 'Bare floors'. Make sure you have the machine reclined into the vacuuming position, and set to an appropriate carpet height setting once you've turned the vacuum on.
I hope this helps - if you find you're unable to reset the machine using the information I've provided here, please email your contact details and serial number to us at [email protected]. One of our experts will be in touch as soon as possible to take you through some further diagnostic checks. If a repair is needed, we'll be happy to confirm whether this is covered under the machine's 5-year warrranty.
Are you in the USA? If you are, try this web address: >>>> http://www.bosch-eshop.com/eshop/bosch/us/brushesfloortools.htm Copy and paste the address into your browser and the tool page will open up for you. Should you want to shop in the UK, there are a lot of shops that carry them. Just do a google search for your make and model plus the word "attachments" and you'll see several from UK.
Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate your vote. Thanks,
Press and hold the "Alarm set" button at the same taime as "DST Set" button this will then cause the year to start flashing Adjust all settings with the + & - buttons (use "Alarm set to accept each option. The time is the last in the sequence
Guess we'll just have to give up and throw this away....I've been holding on to one for 30 years, and I remember it being difficult to program anyway....
Is this a vacuum system? If this is an outdoor timer for a Central Vacuum system, there will not be an outdoor timer, nor an indoor timer. If you are operating a ROBOT vacuum, there is a timer on the charger. Please explain.
