Intermittent load noise (usual intermittent pulse noise is exaggerated) and the food is not heating though everything else seems to opperate normally: The Triac or Diode is capute.
You need to replace this part (@$30), but first need to discharge the capacitor, which is dangerous. I am going to give it a "shot", and not a "shock", all the punn intended. I will use an long insulated screw driver to touch both of the 2/3 tines of the adjacent capacitor, which will give a load "POP!" 2-3x to insure the stored energy is diffused.
Then, hopefully, simply replace the longe wire diode.
TaDa!

Could you describe the noise?
It may be a noisy fan motor or a failing magnetron or high-voltage transformer.
