My ricoh sp c 210 sf printer says it needs a replacement OPC belt. This part costs about $300. The printer is also jamming frequently. If I replace the OPC belt, will it help with the jamming, or should I just buy a new printer?

It depends, Replacing your belt should help with your printer, I also had to do the same thing with ours,
But with the price of printers nowadays you may be better suited to paying extra to get a more up to day printer, But there is something said for getting it fixed. have you also aksed a few repair shops in your area. They may have some surplus parts hanging around, I know we keep older arts in stock on purpose for situations like this where someone would like to get a another year or two out of their items.
But yes once the belt is replaced you will be up and running again.

I forgot to mention I hope all goes well, it's not always easy to spend hundreds of dollars for something you already own...

I hope the rest of your day goes by much better

Why my ricoh sp c811dn printer only print black when I am printing a color job?

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.

Fuser replacement for my ricoh

Generally it is recommended to have a tech do this. the reason being that if you accidently touch the fuser wire the oil from fingers can fritx it. There is a counter to reset but all the playing around to do this ( with a warranty if it goes wrong) is better to have it done by the tech.

NOISE

My machine had the same problem. A service tech looked at my machine and pulled out the OPC Belt Drum Unit. The drum unit had a few issues: 1) jagged rips in it, something caused by running papers through that had staples or paperclips in them. So when the drum turns, it scrapes other parts and the machine sounds like its going to drop all its nuts and bolts--at least mine did!)! and 2) the spindles from the OPC unit has come loosened and fell off. The spindles and plastic cogs were found way at the bottom of the OPC Drum slot. This too was thought to have added to the rips in the drum.

I replaced the drum ($399 was the cheapest I could find) and the problem went away.

An expensive repair but for me it worked...
