Hello, have you already turned machine around to look at back of machine, and pulled off the rear cover, sometimes you can get the whole paper out this way. now if you already replace back cover and turned machine around, lift up front cover as if you where going to replace color ink, you will see a small door, lift this door up, and see if you can see the paper, and remove it, now if the print carraige is there, move to the left, all the way, look sideways from the left, and check to see if there is some paper on the right , if so remove. go ahead and close covers, if pressing ok to recover from paper jam, then power off, wait a few seconds, then power on.

How do i remove the cover on the exit rollers to remove a jam

To remove a paper jam from the exit rollers of a printer, you'll typically need to access the jammed area by opening the printer's covers. Keep in mind that the process can vary depending on the printer model and brand. Here are general steps you can follow to remove the cover and access the exit rollers:
  1. Power Off the Printer: Before attempting to remove any jams or open the printer covers, make sure to turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to avoid any risk of electrical shock.
  2. Open the Printer's Top Cover: Most printers have a top cover that can be easily lifted to access the internal components. Look for a latch or release button on the printer's top cover and gently lift it up to open.
  3. Locate the Jammed Paper: Once the top cover is open, carefully inspect the printer's internal area, especially around the exit rollers, for any visible jammed paper. If you find the jammed paper, gently grasp it and pull it out in the direction of paper movement to avoid damaging the printer.
  4. Check the Rear Cover (if applicable): Some printers have a rear cover or panel that allows access to the exit rollers and other internal components. If your printer has a rear cover, you may need to open it to clear the jam completely.
  5. Remove Paper Trays (if necessary): If the jammed paper extends into the paper trays, you may need to remove the trays to access and remove the jam more effectively.
  6. Clear Paper Path: Ensure that all remnants of the jammed paper are cleared from the printer's paper path. Check for any small pieces of paper that may have torn during the jam and remove them as well.
  7. Close the Covers: After you have successfully removed the jam, close all the printer covers securely. Make sure they are properly latched to ensure the printer functions correctly.
  8. Power On the Printer: Plug the printer back into the power source and turn it on. Perform a test print to verify that the paper jam issue has been resolved.

I don't have the manual and the red light is on. Is that the toner needing replacing and how do I do it?

Here are the things that a steady red light may indicate (from the Owner's Manual):

led-erroron17.jpg A paper jam has occurred. To solve the problem, see "Clearing Jams in the Paper Tray". The front cover is open. Close the front cover. The top cover is open. Close the top cover. The paper tray is empty. Load paper in the tray. See "Loading Paper". A toner cartridge is not installed. Install a toner cartridge. See "Installing the Starter Toner Cartridge".
• A paper jam has occurred. Check the paper tray area.
• The front cover is open. Close the front cover.
• The top cover is open. Close the top cover.
• The paper tray is empty. Load paper in the tray.
• A toner cartridge is not installed. Install a toner cartridge.

I have made a birthday sponge (12") for tomorrow. I have got a layer of buttercream in the middle and I covered the rest in buttercream to seal it. I wanted to put on marzipan and fondant icing and I...

Seems to me you need to put the cake in the ice box after each step and allow the cake to set before going to the next steps.

Convertible top acting up

There are a number of known issues affecting the 9-3 convertible top. TSB 811-1989 describes a problem and fix for the cables to the lock for the top cover.
TSB 811-2101 refers to the jamming of the top cover due to a deformed hinge and provides the fix for this.
TSB 811-2160 deals with instances where the first bow hits the top cover while the top is opening, due to a deformed shear pin, and provides that repair procedure.
Where the soft top cannot be operated or it stops in mid-operation, the SID displays the message CHECK
SOFT TOP COVER, and the following diagnostic trouble codes are be generated: B2025, B2026, B2030, B2031, refer to TSB 811-2236.
Any of these four problems can result in the top cover failing to open and close properly, and can interrupt the smooth operation of the opening and closing of the top.
Finally, the top may somehow have otherwise become out of sync and this does indeed require a Tech 2 diagnostic scan and programming tool to correct. All Saab dealerships have this tool, and an increasing number of independent shops that do appreciable work on Saabs are so equipped now.
