Hello! this kind of error has many possible causes.
1.Power Supply- open the back of your tv to access the power supply section.you must see to it that the power supply is working well.to identify the power supply,it is where the power cord is connected.Take out the power supply remove all the connectors (be carefull with the connectors donot interchange them mark it with a pentel pen)then plug it in tha power outlet measure the voltage output using a voltage tester.
12v for sound amplifiers section
5v for main CPU system
24v for the inverter board

If all of this voltage are present then power supply is good If not then your power supply needs a repair..
2.The Inverter board .This inverter board is the one illuminating the screen. There are two things to consider the bulb and the inverter board itself.the inverter board supply a highvoltage power to the lamp(200vac) the source voltage of inverter board is 24v dc the output is 200v ac (be careful when testing the output)when the lamp is nearly to be busted same problem you will experience with your tv.replacing the lamp will cure the problem.deffective inverter borad will also give the same problem .so please check them first and post a message so we can continue with trouble shooting to which part is deffective we need to isolate first the deffective board.and will go into trouble shooting repair of the board.

Check out the inverter board. It is responsible for the back lighting so you can see a picture.

Black and white

Your not getting color probably because of a weak "air" signal. The fix is a better antenna or an antenna booster.
