Monitor goes black and both blue lamp blinks

Click a button on another DVD remote turned the screen black and both blue indicators keeps blinking. The plasma tv's remote stoped functioning. I reconnected the power cord. I used the plasma tv's remote turned it on. It kept black screen and I heard the tv's sound for a few seconds it turned black and the blue blinks again.

Check for back lighting. The screen will glow.
Sound like the power board is out.

Flash screen lights, then goes black, comes on with restart.

How many times this standby/power light blinks at one time switch ON? Count it carefully. These blinks are fault indication, and known as blinking codes. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON; you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. This will make repair easy. um u should turn your tv off for like 10 minutes , i think yourr tv is a internet tv so let it cool sometimes sony internet tvs freeze with black screen so try it out.

Why does my HP vs17 monitor screen keep going to blank black screen like it turned off but did'nt.....blue power button light is still on? Everything is running but no picture.....keeps happening everytime...

this old monitor has 2 issues.
1: it has CCFL tubes that love to burn out (backlamps)
most this old are long go, yell,dim.,blinking or DEAD.
2: push the menu button on front of mon. turn off power saver.

3: if the PC goes to sleep, or hibernete mode (parked)
then that is 100% normal
if you dont like feature then go to windows control panel
click power, ICON and turn off all monitor sleep /hibernate modes.

that assumes windows, no OS stated.

if the lamps are dead,
use flash light pointed to sceen, see data. ? bingo for bad CCFT tubes.

The blue lamp flashes, then screen goes black, then power turns off. The indicator light blinks 8 times. What's it telling me ?

The Blue CRT has developed a short and will need to bge replaced.

Your monitor have board problem.Need for repair and troubleshoot.Maybe a deffective power supply.

How do I turn it on

Hello.

To power on the Gateway VX750, press the power button on the front. The power button has 3 sides with a "G" in the middle.

The LED indicates the power status of the monitor.

Not lit - The monitor is turned off or does not have power connected.
Blinks one time and then goes off - The LED blinks one time when the monitor's power cord is plugged into an AC outlet to indicate that power is detected.
Lit solid blue - The monitor is turned on and active.
Blinking blue - The monitor is in power saving mode. Before entering power saving mode, a message briefly appears.

Red power button & "lamp" indicator blinks

Having similar issue with my PT-44LCX65. Lamp blew and replaced it (last month), never figured out how to reset timer. Now red indicator light blinks once every 5 seconds and after about 4 minutes TV goes black.... Any ideas?
