I have a APEX LE3245M TV, this morning the screen went black but the sound was good.
The only devise connected to the TV is my laptop through a HDMI cord. I can adjust the volume and adjust the output through the remote. But there is no picture, the screen just remained black.

How you would fix a black or blank screen on your TV.
Ensure that the power sources for all your devices (TV, digital box, VCR, etc.) are securely connected to your devices and the outlet. If that doesn’t fix it,
Check that your TV is set to the correct input. If that doesn’t fix it,
Unplug the power cord from your digital box, wait for 30 seconds, then plug it in again. Wait until the box has fully powered on again, then see if the picture has returned. If that doesn’t fix it,
If you have an HDMI cable connected to your TV, you could try an HDMI handshake.

try holding the hdmi wire connecting to the tv port at a slight angle, if it comes on then the hdmi connection is damaged,do you have sound?
give the connection a wiggle and inspect the connection, maybe worth a reset?
I have same problem, screen is blue for cable TV, same for DVD and for the S-video imput. The menues works good for adjust the color or the TV lenguages, but I can see only the blue screen.
make sure the TV time is correct. Reset the time. if that does not work, but the TV operates ok, it's in the circuit board, or could be a fuse problem.
