I dont have a remote for my APEX tv. I have been trying to change the input from AV to TV but as I scroll through inputs I can't get it to stay on the input I want. Help?

I know this is old but I figured I can post an answer for anyone else looking for a solution. I don't have a remote for my Apex tv and wanted to switch it from TV input to Hdmi 1 to use it as a monitor. You have to press INPUT button to get the menu up. Then press CHANNEL+ or CHANNEL- to change to the input that you want. Then press and HOLD the VOLUME+ button to enter it. That worked for my Apex TV.

When I bought this at Target on black Friday, I did not realize the remote was missing. I had a spare universal laying around. Went online for codes and found nothing but codes that didn't work. Bought a low-end one at Target (who refused to give me one after the TV's sold out, said all I could get was a refund but I got a GREAT price on it and didn't want to spend another 150 to replace it.) Low-end remote did not work, returned it and bought a 70 dollar remote and that didn't work either. Got fed up and called Apex, who jerked me around twice before finally telling me there is a special number if you buy it at Target. Called them and they said fax the receipt and serial number and they would mail me a new one. Did this TWICE and never got a remote, called and demanded a supervisor and explained the situation, he ask my name and info and within 5 minutes I had a conformation email with a tracking number. The aim sucks, but it's not the TV, it's the signal on the remote being weak. The supervisor told me there is only 1 universal remote they know of that works with the TV since it is so new. His name is Marcus Chan and his email is [email protected]

How to change a bulb in a apex pf2720 tv

I'd guess it is not a bulb issue if the audio also stopped working. Check your input source, connections and the like. Try using a different input (ie input 4 or the front AV connectors) and a different source (ie your old Nintendo instead of your DVD player).

Hi! Welcome to Fixya!

If you are unable to view video on your television set, the issue may be that the TV's video input selection does not match.

The TV input source must match how the equipment for example DVD is connected to the TV.

* Plug the RCA cables(red,yellow,white cord) to the designated ports.
* Grab your Apex TV remote and attempt to cycle through the video inputs by hitting the "Input" button at the top of the remote multiple times.
* If you have used a DVD player or similar external device recently, you may have neglected to switch the video input back to the one assigned to your TV programming.
* Devices such as DVD players often reside on the AV 1 or AV 2 video input, and failure to switch back off of one of these will result in a dark, soundless screen when attempting to view cable or satellite television.
* Cycle through the inputs until you land on your cable/satellite input once more, which should result in an immediate restoration of picture and sound.
* If it does not, approach your Apex TV and look over the A/V cable connections. The A/V cable has two sets of prongs, one on either of its ends. Each prong is either red, yellow and white, and plugs into corresponding A/V ports on the back of the Apex TV and the back of your cable or satellite box. Make sure the ports and prongs are color-corresponding and have not been switched up.

Tips to operate without remote

You might try hitting the MENU button on the tv itself to see if you are able to select input / source that way. Some TVs also have the Aux Inputs selected by scrolling through the channels until you come to the aux inputs.

INPUT MODE WITHOUT REMOTE

Hi
If you cannot reach the AV input mode by scrolling through the channel up down, nor is there is a source or TV/AV button on the set it self, then the news is bad I am sorry. You will need the remote to get AV inputs on this set.
You can get a new remote for the set from here for $1995. Plus postage. Note that it has the TV/AV button.

Trying to get to av input on tv and i dont have

Do you have a physical source button on the TV or try going through your menus to see where to switch input sources. I'm sure you can do this with the buttons that are on the Bezel of the TV.
