I was making a copy of a black and white printed flyer and all the words did not copy. Many of the words were missing and you can hardly see them. I did the clean cartirage. The blue, pink, and yellow lines were fine, but the black was partial and the rest of it was white.

i've fixed a simular issue recently, it could be your print head has developed a issue\blockage for the nossles for the black ink tank, it could be mixing colours from word but a black white copy will just use the black ink, try removing the head and using isopropol on a qtip to clean the head for the black only.......
Unless you have Adoby writter or another software that writes in Adoby PDF format all you can do isto copy and shrink the four at a copy place.Phisically fit the four onto one sheet and make copies. Sorry
Adoby is propriatory format and windows word nor most others word processors will not reformat nor change it.
That's a process problem with that machine.
May require a service call .ON and OFF is pretty much all a customer can do and wait for it to setup. NOTE: The problem occurs because of the trickle development system in the machine, making extended lengths of black and white copies / prints does not allow the black developer housing to purge itself of excess waste Toner (Dry Ink) and Developer. There are two solutions for the problem:
Make 1,000 copies / prints of a black and white job, then make 150 copies / prints of full color. Continue making 1,000 copies / prints of the black and white job, then 150 full color, and so on, until the entire black and white job is complete.
Make extended jobs in groups of 100 by making 100 copies / prints of the black and white job, then allowing the machine to cycle down (return to 'Ready') and making the next 100 copies / prints. Continue in this pattern until the entire black and white job is complete.

Usually if you see the page in the Publisher window is already landscape, it will go landscape in the Printpreview and also in the print out. I just try to imagine what is your problem.
If I am not mistaken, this is what you did:
You have two "small" pages (maybe A5??) and you want to print it in one page of A4. Of course the A4 should be landscape.
Publisher does not have the facility to set 2 pages A5 in one A4 like in Microsoft Word.
The easiest way is just create a new page with A4, then copy the 2 pages (or you called it flyers) and paste it in that A4 landscape page.
Publisher can do print 2 pages A5 in one sheet A4 but the arrangement is as booklet. You can see the choices in File --> Page Setup --> tab "Layout" --> scroll the Publication type.
I do print 2 pages A5 in one sheet with many variations using addition software named "Clickbook".
Let me know if I m wrong in interpret your problem.
1. The color required to print the text ( ie: black or a variation of ) may have run out and needs to be refilled or replaced.
2. The other way that could help, is to select only the text you wish to print, by highlighting the entire text of the email, and then press and hold Ctrl while you press P to bring up printing shortcut menu and then check the "Print selected only" before attempting to print.
This should give you only the selected text, but if your black or the color required to print is empty, it may appear blank on the page, or show a low ink error.
