Why does My Samsung CLX4195FW only print in Black and White?
MY Samsung CLX4195FW has always printed in both Black and White and Color. I have two computers connected to it. One is hard wired connected directly USB no internet and the other is connected via My verizon internet service Router . The Printer prints in color when I make copies, no issue there. When I try and send anything from either of my computers, the color copies come out blank sheets. The Black and White copies come out just fine. The print previews are in color unless I change the options. So I can have a print preview that is in color, but it will print black and white . So, I'm looking at the color preview, all selections are obvioulsy in color and the print comes out blank. What is the issue?

Hi, when the printer finished warming up. it will prompt Toner Empty - Stop, use the arrow key changed to continue and you can start printing. remember you must always do that whenever this msg appears.
When printing press file, then print, from there select printing preferences go over the pages and look for black and white setting or grayscale setting.
make sure you have a reasonably full color cartridge in the printer and check its color settings. start, control panel, printers, right cilck your printer and go to properties..make sure its not set to black and white. Also in the program you're printing from, click on print (dont use the print icon that auto-prints)..so file, print and make sure theres no options set there that are also set to black and white. if the printer has an lcd screen on it with a menu, you can also look there for settings.
Well one thing you should do is when your printing something out before you print make sue that you have selected color not black and white because most printers have a default setting to use black and white. Also make sure that you have color ink available to print.
before you print go to the print properties or preferences, in there see if you find a setting that says black/white or color. select color then print.
you may or may not have this option. the older HP ink-jets defaulted to Black/white and you had to manualy select color from the current document you where printing.
