Router won't accept the password or ip address code

Hello you might have to reset it and set it up again.

You Have not Mention What Wireless Router are you using, To set Dynamic IP you need to Enter inside the router Configuration Page. Your Router most have one Default IP address, user name and the password, by using any web browser and typing the default IP of the router on Address bar of web browser you can enter to its configuration page.
One You get in to Configuration Page you'll find Wireless setting, there you can Change it to Dynamic IP.

Reset your router back to it's factory settings by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds. I have provided a list of the most popular router brands. If it does not work you may need to google what your specific model's default IP address/default username/default passwords are, for example search for "Encore ENHWI-2AN3 default IP address" The default login info can change, it can depend on where you obtained your router. If you purchased it yourself from a store then the standard defaults should work. If you obtained your router from your Internet Provider you may need to contact your service provider. It also may depend whether it's an old or new model router as well. And you may need to press and hold the reset button on your router several times before it actually clears. Make sure you have a wired connection then once you have accessed your router simply run the Setup Wizard. Set your SSID as something you'll remember like "Mavericks Network" and your Password can be something like your phone number for example 3109876543

The pin code is normally found on the label on the bottom of your router but it's not mandatory to use it. You can reset your router back to factory and google it's default ip address and it's default password depending upon your brand of router. I would search for D-Link Router default password, default username, and default IP address. On a D-Link router the default IP address would be 192.168.0.1 The default username: admin The default password: leave the password box blank.

follow these steps to get your router Wireless password.

Fist find out Default Gateway of your computer

Click start>>run then type CMD in run box>>>Hit Enter>>it will show you a black dos window>>type there ipconfig>>>now look for your default gateway IP Address.

It could be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or somthing else.

Type your Default IP address Into your Browser Address bar >>Press Enter>>it will ask you for user name and password to Access router page>>User name could be Admin and password could be password

it could be Admin and Admin and if it sill not accept it then You can also call your Internet Service Provider to know what is your user name and password for router.

Once it accepted the user name and password you will the Router Page open.

Now you look for Wireless option and click on it there you can see your Wireless Security Password.

If you still have any difficulties to know your router Wireless Password then My best Recommendation would that You can get help from you internet Service provider and they will definitely let you know that What is your Router Wireless Password.

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. Step 1:
Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer.
Step 2:
Go to the Address bar and enter your router's IP address ("192.168.1.1" is the default IP of most Linksys routers) then press [Enter].

NOTE : For WRP400, the default IP address would be "192.168.15.1" and if you place the router behind a primary router with the IP address of "192.168.15.1", then the router will automatically assume a new default IP address, "192.168.16.1".

NOTE: If the IP address of the router has been changed, type the router's IP address in the Address bar instead.

The router's IP address can be changed by:

1. Running the router's setup CD.

2. Changing it on the router's web-based setup page.
