Hi, I have Samsung RS2630WW Side by Side Refrigerator. All the time I have the ice block the condenser from inside the freezer. I tried to de-ice by removing the inner freezer cover several times. The problem is that each time I de-ice the freezer keep cooling down to about -25 C no matter which control setting I choose. Then, the ice will build and the temperature will rise up to about -13 C in the freezer and +10 C in the fridge. The temperature control seems not working at all. Any suggestions?

Hi

Its condenser or evaporator? The condenser is outside the fridge, the evaporator is inside. if it's the evaporator then it’s bad thermostat. Please check the bellow link and go through the article bellow…

    Hi e-Guru,

You are right, it is the evaporator. If the thermostat is easy to replace, can you provide me with steps to change, and the part number?

If it needs a specialist, what should be an approximate cost?

    Thanks.

De icing the freezer in a Samsung SW 2630WW

Take all of the shelves out of the freezer side. Take to Philips screws for backing and 4 philips screws from vent cover just above cover. unplug, Use a hair blow dryer and melt it. Put it back together and there you go. Whole operation from start to finish is about 15 minutes.

Samsung frost free fridge freezer ices bottom of freezer

it means that the freezer heater is bad, it's located after you remove the racks from the freezer and removing the back panel, it's at the bottom or below the condenser.
