Magnavox 37MF321D/37. suddenly just shut off and would not turn back on, no blinking green light nothing!

Price the board first and then decide, I fix these in our shop but do not like or enjoy working on them at all.

I just fixed a similar problem on mine but the power light was flashing at the same time the screen was flashing. I made a video showing what part and how to replace it. I also added a link to the part I ordered. L5973D STMicroelectronics Mouser

I have the same model 37MF321D/37 and the Blinking Light

I fixed it by replacing the two capacitors with 3300uf 25v instead of Magnavox's 3300uf 10v and a power swith that I ordered from http://www.encompassparts.com/. Also I did have a power supply put in from a repair place that cost $160.00. It is working perfect now and no blinking light.

Sounds like you need to repair the power supply, don't fret, it can be really easy.  Here is a pair of youtube videos I made after following some advice on this website from other posters:

I have a flat screen lcd 42 inch model number 37MF321D/37 and the on button just keeps flashing and the remote does nothing?

You have either a bad power supply ( a very common problem) or the inverter board that runs the back - light is bad. The power supply board will have capacitors that are leaking or puffed up looking. Same on the inverter board. If you can get a component leval repair then that is cheaper ... But most techs just replace the board. Not a do it yourself job. Expect a cost of $200.00 to $300.00

My magnavox 37mf321d 37 LCD tv

This is a bad power supply and an easy fix. Their are several electrolytic capacitors on the power supply. If one is bad it will have a bulge on the top. Mine had a bad 2200uF and a bad 1200uF capacitor. About $7 worth of parts at Radio Shack. Radio Shack had the 2200uF but it was axial leads instead of radial. (leads come out of each end instead of one end) but It will still fit. They only had a 1000uf capacitor so I combined that with a 220uF capacitor and wired them in parallel. Make sure you put them in with the correct polarity.
