I had a new power supply and a couple of capacitors put in for $160.00 and the green light still blinks but it will come on. I have ordered the two main capacitors that Magavox knows about that they should have been a higher voltage. I ordered two 3300 uf 25 v, to replace the 3300 10v, I also ordered a new power switch in which I read this also goes bad. Magnavox built this model with a low wattage capacitor when they should have used high wattage and they will not do anything about it because I have already talked to them several times, but they know of the problem. I ordered these parts for $4.99 and a solder kit from Harbour Freight for $14.00 and I will fix it myself. The bad capacitors are at the bottom of the motherboard and are together and will have bubbled tops. Anybody needing parts for Magnavox or Phillips can order them direct from: http://www.encompassparts.com/. Hope this helps someone else.
I fixed it by replacing the two capacitors with 3300uf 25v instead of Magnavox's 3300uf 10v and a power swith that I ordered from http://www.encompassparts.com/. Also I did have a power supply put in from a repair place that cost $160.00. It is working perfect now and no blinking light.
