Scrapbooking is a wonderful way of preserving special memories. More than just a photo album, it's a collection of photos and momentoes prensented in a creative way.
Scrapbooking is hugely popular and if you look online or in specific stores, you will find thousands of products on sale to help you with your scrapbooking hobby.
It's easy to get overwhelmed when you are a beginner, so here are some basic tips to keep in mind when you get started.

1: Photos make up the essence of a scrapbook. Be sure before you cut up any photos. You may want to make sure you print another copy first.

2. You can use words, titles, short sentences etc to create really effective images on a page. You don't have to be traditional - titles can be placed anywhere on a page.

3. Be wary about getting carried away with themes. You might buy too much for one theme and your tastes could change.

4. Don't worry if your scrapbooks look quite basic to start with. You don't have to spend hours on each page. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most effective.
