Your Apple ID password is for the internet. If the mini is a single user setup you shouldn't need a password unless you are altering something about the operating system. (It does happen)
Call the people who sold you the machine and ask them the password they used to set up the machine. You should have full control of your computer, not just user control!
No dear,
You don't need to reset the password. we reset the password when someone hacked our account or in case user don't remember account password. But in your case there is some technical issue. Despite amazing features in Yahoo email account that help users in quick accessibility of their personal or official webmail account, there are certain technical problems that all of the sudden occur in webmail account that create problems for the user.
to do this you need to access your router settings.if you connect your pc to your router with an ethernet cable then open your web browser and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1 you should get your router's settings page. if you don't try typing 192.168.2.1 once it asks you for user and password details type admin for both if that doesn't work try admin and password. once in you should be able to navigate to password settings and enter a password of your choice.
Plug an ethernet cable from the router into the ethernetport of a computer and type in the router's ip address in the browser. For example the ip address will be something like 192.168.1.1
Once you have the correct ip address ( you can google your router'smanufacturer for the ip address if you don't know it), then the routers guiinterface will open up for you to configure the router. It will ask forthe user id and password. Most times this is the default password set bythe manufacturer unless whoever installed your router changed it. You canalso google your router's manufacturer for the default user id andpassword. In fact you could go to the router's manufacturer's website andlook at the manual for your router which will have the ip address, userid andpassword.
Once you are in the router you can go to the Wireless Settings and turn on the wireless and set a password for it.
It depends!!! On some modems/routers it will be listed on the somewhere on the device. AT&T places theirs on the their device for you.
If not, you can always plug an ethernet cable from the router into the ethernet port of a computer and type in the router's ip address in the browser. For example the ip address will be something like 192.168.1.1

Even if you have already done this it won't hurt to do it again.

You seem to be using the correct password of "admin" but maybe it did not get reset. It is possible that if you are using WiFi to connect to the router, the admin account is disabled for security purposes. If you have a cable to connect your laptop to the router you may have better luck setting it up.
The other thing is maybe you are not properly connected to the router. If you go to Start-->Run then type CMD and you will get a command prompt. In that black window type the following:
ping 192.168.1.1 and hit
You should see something like reply from 192.168.1.1... or "request timed out". A request timed out message means that your computer can not talk to the router. I would check the cable or WiFi settings on your laptop.
Hi, Connect your modem output LAN cable to your Router input port. Now connect your router output cable to PC. In your internet explorer type url as 192.168.1.1
It will ask for User id and password. Leave blank for user id and enter password as admin . Now you will get the setting of your router. Configure your router for your internet setting. also you have one option to select WEP option to secure the router.
