problem is in jack where you plug headphone of your psp have problem. Take it to service center or expert repairing shop.

Did u tried to take out the battery for a while then put it back in to reset the device? I hope it works

try contatcting sony themselves they will help or go and ask a local games shop its probaly the laser.

I have the same exact problem except my NBA game wont work. The problem is that the disk won't spin well enough. you need to lubricate it somehow without damaging the disk

I have the same problem , i analyzed my psp , and found out
that it has 1021 bad blocs, it has to be somehow fixed ,
but i dont know how yet. someone who can unbrick psp maybe can this.

maybe the system is not working right why wont you take it to a mechanic that ccan help you

my son's psp 1001 sony brand will turn on and charge we bought a new battery for it, but when he trys to play a game it won't run it will start to turn the disc then it will stop and the umd symbol don't even show up in the game catagories i need help to fix it..
