The best bet is to use an external USB Sound adapter as the internal sound system is part of the main board on the computer. You cannot replace the sound card inside a laptop.

is ur WIFI connected thru USB ?
then ur USB is losing power...
check if ur USB setting...
go to Device Manager/USB Serial Bus/USB root hub...
go to each ports one by one....right click on each check properties...check Power Mgt tab....
remove the Tick in the box that says "Allow computer to save power'....
close Device Manager/ Shutdown and restart....

Dell has a website where you can download all necessary drivers for your specific machine. You will need to type in your service tag number, you will find it on a tag on the bottom of the machine. Here is the URL:

Unable to detect lcd

Replace the Discrete Video card. That's why your LCD didn't detect when you run the Diagnostic test. There 2 type of video cards available to Dell Inspiron 6400/E1505. Either you have a on-board video card or discrete video card. Mostly, the discrete video card is caused when you not getting video output to your LCD (completely dark as if it is off). Discrete video card is detachable and replaceable. Good Luck.
