There are two things you can do depending on the type of OS you are running.

Get the Office CD or DVD and reinstall Office and your word will come back.

Alternatively, Click Start, Accessaries, System tools, System Restore
Click next, check to see that the file you want restore is listed or that the date before the problem occured is listed and choise that option. Click next to restore your file or your system to the date before the issue.

You should be able too recover your word application by these methods.

There is no problem, you can simply reinstal the application if you have the disk or you can try open office for free.

I deleted my Microsoft Office Activation Wizard

try this :
1. Quit all running programs.

2. Download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.
http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/9/D/E9D80355-7AB4-45B8-80E8-983A48D5E1BD/msicuu2.exe

3. After you have installed the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, click
Start>All Programs>Windows Install Clean Up.

4. Highlight Microsoft Office 2007 entry in the list and then click
Remove. Click OK and wait for the process to end. If any other stand alone
Office applications (such as Visio and Project) appear on the list, please
also remove them. Then, click Exit to close the Windows Installer Cleanup
utility.

5. Click Start>Run, type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) in the
Open box and press Enter.

6. Locate the registry keys below and click Delete from the Edit menu.
Click OK on the following warning dialog box.

Note: Please go to File>Export and backup all the registry first.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office

Quit Registry Editor.

7. Delete or rename the following folders or files if they exist:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Office
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Publisher
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dot
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Microsoft\Word
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office
C:\Program Files\OfficeUpdate12

8. Click Start>Run, type "%Temp%" (without the quotation marks) in the
Open box and press Enter. Delete all the files and folders within it. If
there are some files which cannot be deleted, just leave them alone and
this will not affect the result.

9. Empty the Recycle Bin.

10. To remove Mapi, search for and rename the following folders/files if
they exist:

C:\Windows\system32\mapi32.dll
C:\Windows\system32\mapisvc.inf
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Msmapi
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi

I want to install microsoft office 2007 because it got deleted on accident

If you still have the CD then just insert into your computer and reinstall it, otherwise you're going to have to go buy a new version of it.

There is another type of word processing program called open office. I'm going to link it just incase you do not want to purchase Microsoft Office 2007.

Microsoft word can not save text, even dose not closed properly.kindly help.

This problem may be due to improper installation of Microsoft Office. Uninstall this product, and try re-installing the software again. If it does not work, it may be due to corruption of some the system files. Then try to remove the registry of Microsoft Office after uninstalling MS Office. To do this, Uninstall Office and then from the Start Menu, click on RUN, type 'regedit' and press enter. This will open a new window, now click on "HKEY CURRENT USER", then on "SOFTWARE", then on "MICROSOFT", and right-click on "OFFICE" and click delete to delete the registry string. After that, click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE", then on "SOFTWARE", then on "MICROSOFT", and right-click on "OFFICE" and click delete to delete the string. Now restart your computer, install the MS Office again and check whether it's working or not. If it is not working too, probably you have to format your system.

Microsoft word

The documents are probably not corrupted, just unassociated file types as you don't have a program that recognizes *.doc file type now that Word is no-longer there. Microsoft Office has a Repair option if you run the Install Disc, or, if you uninstalled the application in the regular manner then you can just install it again without affecting your other office programs by selecting only Word on install.

Microsoft word 2007 problem

Microsoft should be able to send the key to you again if you give them all of your information and explain what you did. You should have an order #. If that is not the case and you are looking for the key here, we cannot give that out to you because each key is unique and it would be illegal to give those out. I recommend contacting microsoft. Cheers.

Deleted Program on accident....help?

Hi Jacie316

Ok, OOPS!, The only way you're going to be able to access your word files again is to re-install MS Office. I suggest you leave it as it is, and reinstall MS-Office when you get home or try to get a copy of MS Office, because that is the only way to access your files. No need to format your laptop though. Just reinstall MS Office. and everything should be fine again. I f you just need MS Word, then when you reinstall MS-Office again, choose manual installation and untick all other installations except MS Word. In that way you do not need to reinstall the complete MS-Office but instead, just MS Word.

Hope I helped.
