Phone won't turn on

Try running the phone in safe mode. To do this. Press power button then when power down appears. Long press power down option. It will ask if you want to boot into safe mode. Select ok the it will reboot in safe mode. Use the phone in safe mode for 24 he's to see how it works. If it works better, then there is a third party app you installed on the phone that I'd causing freezing.

HI.Let me just clarify that when you try to download file it freezes?

Time to replace, cost of repair isnt worth it, sometimes theres a reset button on back, try unplugging etc.

okay.. from the sounds of it the phone has so many of these "alarms" that it is getting into a loop.
what you need to do is
1. turn the phone on.
2. et it sit for a good while hours maybe
3. when you get back to it try and close the alerts

i think its just freezing because its processor is being pushed. let it calculate. then see what happens.

the alternative is a "hard reset"
heres how to do it
1. Turn the Moto Q off

2. Hold down the power button (hang up button) and the center key button (the button between the arrows) at the same time.

3. When the telstra or motorola (or whatever) logo appears on the device. Let go of both buttons.

4. A screen will come up saying to do a Master Reset. You will hit the left soft key to say yes to confirm.

Your Moto Q is now been hard reset ( Master Reset ) without having to go through the menu of the device.

try hooking it to your pc..have some sort of phone tool on there for flashing..after you hook it up start it in flash mode,you do thius by holding the star key and the palm key at the same time and then pushing npower while still holding the star and palm
